Purpose & Application
This Tubular Strander / Tubular Closer​ is a high-speed rotating-tube stranding machine designed for the production of 1×7 (1+6) steel wire rope and prestressed concrete steel strand​ with a finished diameter up to 17 mm​ (typical working range 9.53–17.8 mm).
The machine lays six outer wires uniformly around one central wire inside a rotating tubular cage, forming a compact, low-elongation spiral strand used as:
Prestressed concrete strand (PC strand) for bridges, slabs, and precast elements
Static stay cables, guy wires, and structural tension members
Architectural and balustrade stainless-steel rope (when 304/316 wire is used)
Galvanized carbon-steel control cables and small lifting cores.
